Basic care includes washing your face twice a day; once in the morning and again before you go to bed. You should use a gentle cleanser that won’t irritate your skin. Toners are refreshing for your skin but aren’t completely necessary for your skin type. Always avoid toners that have alcohol as an ingredient, because they dry the skin. Applying a moisturizer will help keep your skin hydrated. Try to choose a moisturizer that has a sun block of at least SPF 15.
Weekly masks can help your skin deal with the environment, whether you live in a very dry area or in a city with a great deal of pollution. Hydrating masks and purifying masks can help keep your skin healthy and can be used in rotation if preferred. Another important part of your routine should be to exfoliate once or twice a week, which will help clear your face of dead skin cells and allow the healthy skin to breathe easier. Do's and Don'ts for Normal Skin

Normal skin is definitely the easiest skin type to take care of, but just because it’s normal doesn’t mean that it doesn’t require basic care routine. Just like any other skin type, normal skin still should be washed and moisturized daily in order to prevent dry skin or acne. Here are a few do’s and don’ts for normal skin.
Baby's feet
Don’t smoke. Have you ever noticed the skin of someone that is a lifelong smoker? It looks tissue paper thin and is likely covered in wrinkles. Even if you do smoke, stop, in order to prevent this from happening to you. Check some negative effects of smoking on your skin, maybe they will help to quit smoking.
Don’t tan. Don’t fool yourself; there’s no such thing as safe tanning. Any kind of exposure to the sun will result in damage, from wrinkles, liver spots, and even skin cancer.
Don’t touch or rub your face. Touching your face transfers oil to your skin that can leave it clogged, which can cause acne to develop.
Don’t wash your face with soap, as it can irritate the skin. Always opt for a gentle cleanser, preferably without perfumes or colorants.
Do wash your face twice a day; once in the morning and again before you go to bed.
Do always take off your makeup before you go to bed, no matter how late it is or how tired you are. Makeup will clog the pores if left on for too long, which can cause acne to develop.
Do always use a moisturizer. Even if you don’t have particularly dry skin, moisturizer can help hydrate the skin. Without the hydration, skin can become dry and eventually promote wrinkles.
Do exfoliate once a week. Exfoliating removes dead skin cells, which in turn promotes the growth of new, healthy skin cells, and leaves your skin looking smoother.
Do use sun screen to protect your face when you go out in the sun. Our faces are the most exposed parts of our bodies and it sees the most sun damage. Use a moisturizer that has an SPF of at least 15 or use a sun screen in conjunction with your moisturizer. No matter what's the season, use skin moisturizers in winter and change your skin care routine in winter season as well.

Normal Skin Characteristics

Normal skin is so ideal that it's hard to find. Mostly only children have normal skin type and we... we would just do so much to be able to have normal skin type, what with age is harder and harder. Teenagers normal skin is being tested and often they lose normal skin, which becomes oily type (thanks to hormonal changes), however it happens that skin doesn't change untill 30ties, that's when first signs of aging will be visible on everyone's face (most probably even before we turn 30).
When we start to notice first signs of aging, the skin probably starts to be dry and sensitive... after 15-20 years it becomes mature.

How to Recognize Normal Skin Type

Normal skin type is tight but not too tight and it's firm. It doesn't produce excess of sebum, it's easy to cleanse and pores are almost invisible. It's good hydrated, delicate, smooth and quite thin. Skin color depends not only on amount of melanin in the skin but also on the epidermis thickness.
Blood vessels are invisible through normal skin - it is simply "ideal skin", what's often the reason why people do not take care of it. As it's forgivable when we do not take care of our own skin, it's important to take care of our babies skin because they can't take care of it by themselves. Taking care of normal skin let us enjoy healthy skin for longer, while our peers are dealing with first signs of aging.
Another mistake is to use skin care products, which shouldn't be used on normal skin. It's not advisable to use skin care products that offer regenerative properties - they may change good, natural functioning of our skin. We should protect our normal skin though.

How to Take Care of Babies Normal Skin

If someone has normal skin it doesn't mean it should be left alone. It is important to use cream with high UV filters and blockers for children up to the age of 3. After the bath children should be treated with protective cosmetics for children. In the winter your children should have special cream protecting skin against frost. It is also advisable that your baby gets used to using a protective lipstick.
